I was chatting with one of my students about this song this week. I had forgotten about this remix until then, so I figured I would share it with you guys.
This is one of those 'bootleg remix' tracks where I didn't actually have any stems to work with, just the main song. I edited it and cut it up in a way that makes it a bit more complex and synthwork-y. Bootleg remixes are tougher than people think - editing and manipulating a full track leaves pretty little room for error, where as stems give you lots of room to experiment and explore. Listening back, I feel like the mix could've been cleaned up a little bit, but for what it is it's pretty fun and dance-able.
Anyway, thanks for listening and hope you're all happy and well!
Note: This is another one of those tracks where I was writing as 'Torches' at the time (hence the artwork).
