Original Track - Final product of my 'Complextro Series'.

in #dsound7 years ago (edited)

As a lot of you know, I direct a music program called Torches Academy. Lately, I've been working on developing a ton of new content for the site to give more visibility to the composition process of modern genres.

My first new edition to the archive is going to be the 'Complextro Series'.

I thought this would be a really cool one to do because it showcases a lot of tricky arrangement, composition, and sound design of the 'house music' family. I feel like if you can wrap your head around this, you'll have a much easier time with most other siblings like deep house, trance, dubstep, etc. I also want to note that I ONLY used sounds and synths that come native with FL Studio. So if you are a beginner who has limited access to third party synths and such, you will be able to follow along with this project having ONLY a copy of FL. About 95% of the synths were made from scratch.

I'm working on editing the videos now so you can watch how this was made, start to finish. The series should be completed within the next week.

Pro members of Torches Academy get access to all these videos, and also the project file as well, so you can pick it apart, use the sounds in your own tracks, and study it in a way that you will become more comfortable with the genre.

You can get more information about the program at torchesacademy.com

And regardless of all that, it was a really fun track to make and I wanted to share it with my friends here! Hope you guys dig it!
