Now this is the kind of track I could sing to. I feel as thought the music itself would pull lyrics straight from the heart. There is so much emotion hidden within it's notes, just eagerly awaiting to exploded. To bad it's someone else's lol :( I'm sure I would not be able to afford your services.
Oh wow. Just stunning. Ending piano lessons when I was seven was probably one of my biggest regrets. Oh how I would love to be able to create sounds like this. Instead I'm primarily forced to stick with the sharps because they are a bit easier to manage. But nothing like this could ever be created by "half @$$ing" it like i do :^P Maybe someday, I'll dedicate the time required to properly learn to play.
Never hurts to just have fun with it if you ever decide to pick it back up! One of the biggest hinderances in my opinion is just being self-conscious about your skill level - just screw around and have fun! You'd be amazed at what you can do with super basic chord progressions.
That's good advice. I used to jam out with one of my buddies and we would always record everything. I was amazing what "harmony" can be created among the "chaos." Yeah I just need to set up my "area/studio" table. Once we had our first baby my little spot sort of got occupied and just began to collect dust. I've just moved it, but need to clean up the room so I can actually just have a good play when the mood strikes.
It was certainly easier when I had someone to play with, but it won't be long before my oldest may be interested in watching me play around. LOL the only playing I have done is on a synth with dog, duck, frog, bee, and a few other animal samples. :) It was still fun though. Your totally inspiring me to get back into it. I really miss it, just forgot how much.
Absolutely dude - I'm sure the kids will follow suit! Dust off the ol' gear! I'd love to hear some of your stuff.
