# Introduction Well, after getting countless copyright strikes on my YouTube Channel for my OWN music, I decided to pull all my tracks from the label it was released on and start re-uploading them again. I will think about putting all the tracks together as a self-released EP in their respective original playlists in 2019 again but for now, they are "free agents".
Distant Memory
The first track of the "Moving On" EP represents a faint recollection of all the negative things that happened during my PhD, a somewhat rusty peek in to the past.
It feels like a different life now as I have moved on from it all and when I get asked questions about how I pulled through the PhD, my responses aren’t nearly as detailed as they once were. So I guess you could say it’s remnants of a distance past that I will still remember but it won’t affect me as much psychologically and physically anymore as I’ve moved on to pastures new.

Done! Let's get steem on the go!
very cool intro to an EP doc, it kinda says "here we go " :)
Thanks a lot turtle man! Yes indeed, here we go and take on the world :)
Well said @nickyhavey. I dig it when people show us a solid piece of their self.
I don’t understand the YouTube hiccup?
Moving on from the label, so the album fits that too. Sucks that it was an issue for you! How can a copyright affect your own music? I’ve had some copyright issues too but actually managed to resolve them.
love those pad chords
your label bitched at you posting your own work? ffs, do they think it's still 1955?
parasites man.
Haha well, in fairness it wasn't the label (which changed name and then became defunct) but it was the distributors they used that were raising copyright strikes against my tracks
I of course disputed the strikes as they are my OWN tracks and when the distributor rejected my dispute as they felt theirs was still valid, I decided to pull my tracks from the label (which doesn't exist any more) so once that has all been confirmed, I will be re-uploading everything, giving them a re-brand and start again. Pain in the ass.
