Hey guys,
I'm very happy to present to you the announced interview with Pedro (@prc) - the creator of @dsound, which we did on Facebook, yesterday - 27 February.
As you can see, we spent more than 1.5 hours talking about:
- DSound and its background
- the benefits of delegation for the DSound community
- curation
- rotating uploads
- creative ways of using DSound
- plans for the future and starting new initiatives
- copyright and fair use of music
- Pedro's new project "Emanate"
- and much much more....
In general, the first half is addressed mostly to people that are new to or less familiar with Steemit, and the second half to those of us that already have some experience.
SO grab a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of wine (or maybe a bottle ;)), take your pick, sit back and enjoy!
And if you find this useful, please resteem and share with the community.
Thank you!
Petra & Pedro

Thank you, this is the info I was looking for right now! Great work.
You're welcome! Feel free to resteem!
@petrajordan, this is so lovely. its an eye-opener, i love the way you balance the interview, you address the newbies on the platform and the experienced folks.
Thank You, I know better Now!
You rock!
me too, thanks! timing is everthin
Great great podcast!
Awesome to learn about the origins of the platform and to also get a peek into the mind of the man that made it all happen :)
The @dsound support has pretty much enabled me to be able to pay my bills and do what I love doing. It's so surreal for me to finally do podcasts and escape that terrible life draining job that I was at. Especially as someone who lives in a country where the currency isn't doing so great.
Great to hear about all the exciting things that are coming along with the emanate project which sounds like a music producers dream, RSS feed for podcasts, and also the fact that @dsound is still in the alpha stage!
Thank you again @prc for everything you've done with @dsound! We're all definitely proud of you :) and thank you so much @petrajordan for doing this excellent interview! Resteemed, upvoted, and followed!
That’s fantastic to hear you can make a living with your podcasts! I’m super happy for you :)
I think Steem, at the moment, is a winning solution for countries with economic problems, while in the expensive Western world it works, too, but we need to make extra effort to make enough to pay our bills with it. The tables have turned it seems :) BUT at least it stimulates our creativity and encourages us to make the extra effort to cover our monthly expenses. Or now, the Westerners will start moving to cheaper countries because of that :)) who knows?
In any case, I’m thrilled it exists and the opportunity is here for all of us!
What’s even better is that we can all contribute to the development of @dsound by suggesting what features we’d like to see, and if one is a programmer, then of course they can just go ahead and write the code...
Exciting times!
Darling thanks for the shout out ! We pronounce my name "Priva" but it's okay hahaha. I hope you all good, that was hell of a marathon for the both of you, and I got so many important info regarding the future of our community so thank you so much !
Ha ha, sorry! I’m pretty good at giving people my own version of their names and you got one! Anyway, yes it was a marathon but definitely worth it! Glad you found it useful!
Good music, very nice.
This is great @petrajordan, thanks for sharing this insight with us
Great! ..and resteemed!
