RE: Skylar Grey ft. Eminem & Yelawolf - Twisted (Explicit) (cover by Ed Privat)

in #dsound6 years ago

One, I love Yelawolf and you killed his part. Two, MGK dissed his way back on my play list for Rap Devil. I have my money on this is a marketing shtick but also feel this was pretty interesting for the hip hop community… we haven’t seen something like this since Biggie and Tupac- I think it’s good for hip hop as long as the beef stays on the mic.

Did I already tell you you killed this song?

Sort:

Hahaha thanks so much :) apparently Machine Gun Kelly dissed Yelawolf too!
Yeah I think it's gonna have a good impact on the hiphop world and maybe widen the gap between amazing rappers and mumble rappers

I’d have to stand loyal with Yela if that is the case but honestly think Kells is pretty talented. Yela is my fave, and Eminem is the man so who knows where all of this will go; hopefully to the creation of more dope music :)

Yay ! I can answer finally !!!

I think your judgement is clouded by the pretty Kells, young padawan.
He is 30% talent, and the rest is just hair dye...

Alright he is okay, but I wouldn't put him in the same category as Em, I saw MGKimprov on Wild'n Out and it was soooooo wack

Finally, I can answer you. Clouded? Shmouded! Em is and will always be the King- my first favorite of all time (after Tupac of course), and Yelawolf is so multitalented, he’s my “now” favorite. Did @dandays ever tell you the time we met him and his entire band then were challenged by them to a game of pool? It was a great night :).

All I’m saying is that I loved MGK a few years ago, before he duet-Ed with teeny bopper, radio pop princesses and his flow was (is/can be) dope. In fact, I made us rock to ‘lace up’ and ‘admission’ on a cross country road trip the entire time. Dandays was probably getting sick of hearing me gangsta rap along… haha

This doesn’t mean he’s ‘same category’ as Eminem (I don’t think anybody really is), but when he’s not on the radio, his flow is pretty impressive- at least from the two albums I mentioned. Anyway, I’ll stop talking now because not only is this a late response but it is also a breathy one 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll leave you with these dancing ladies and a happy Sunday :)

“....Erywhere I go I’m puttin on. Puttin on puttin on. Er-Er-Erywhere I go I’m puttin on.”

“Bleep that, pick your game up quick though”…

My man! I love this song. I hope it generates you a fortune! Now that Dlive is a goner I imagine the majority of your tunes will be Dsound. Hm..

I think the whole MGK n Em thing is a marketing ploy but that’s about as valuable as the one I won’t share about the market! 👍🏿

I think you are so right about the beef!!!

"I hope it generates you a fortune! Now that Dlive is a goner I imagine the majority of your tunes will be Dsound"
I am gonna be honest I probably will only focus on my album in the next month, and maybe a cover from time to time but nothing fancy!

So you heard about Lino?

Negative on the lino but I did just learn it’s an English word and translates to rhyme. But if you’re talking about this one then how weird is the rhyme one?!?

I’ve heard about em both now.

THIS ONE

Apparently that's where DLive is migrating ...

“Check!”
