You're Not Good Enough

Another track of the "Your Time Is Now" album. The the great stock market crash and the financial crisis around 2008 inspired me to write the story.

Suzanne broke family tradition
Her father couldn't accept the decision
She married Allan and they moved away
He couldn't forget what the old man did say

And then the financial market collapsed
The greedy old man lost all he had
Well, he was responsible for this mess after all
Still didn't see his fault
And it happened one day that he showed up all desperate and wasted
Beggin' Suzanne and Allan for help:
My son in law you are the best
Allan turned him down and said:

You're not good enough
