What do you get when you cross a brilliant Egyptian poet with an iPhone, a Canadian music producer experimenting with 432hz, Solfeggio, Rife, and a bunch of other frequencies and meditation bowls, (and probably a bit of scotch and cannabis in the mix)...?
This:
Listen to Breath feat. Yahia Lababidi on dSound
Pleased to present another collaborative piece with @yahialabidi.
It's funny how the creative process works, a project evolving into its own thing as persisting through the lack of flow and solidity in the beginning. It's fascinating observce a piece of art come unto its own, facilitating the process through diligent attention to the finest details, breathing life into something that never before existed.
Lots of subtle things going on in this composition. (But this probably isn't the forum to geek out on regarding that.)
And pretty amazing that this is the result of a recording that was done on an iPhone.
Whatever the case... time to let the music speak for itself.
It's a short listen time-wise, though a journey that takes you into a bit of a psychedelic-ish timewarp.
Yada, yada, yada... ENJOY!
Listen to Breath feat. Yahia Lababidi on dSound
Breath
Beneath the intricate network of noise
there’s a still more persistent tapestry
woven of whispers, murmurs and chants
It’s the heaving breath of the very earth
carrying along the prayer of all things:
trees, ants, stones, creeks and mountains alike
All giving silent thanks and remembrance
each moment, as a tug on a rosary bead
while we hurry past, heedless of the mysteries
And, yet, every secret wants to be told
every shy creature to approach and trust us
if only we patiently listen, with all our senses.
~written & spoken by Yahia Lababidi
Good golly, @rok-sivante! Initially, I was startled by the voice, near afraid of ---which is to say, I did not recognize it as my own!
But, then, it grew on me and began to tug at the 'ole heart strings; accompanied by your hallucinatory musical effects, it was strangely moving, and, by the end, left me in near tears...
Operating on this emotion level, it felt like The Voice was that of the very earth sighing, and trees, and the entire natural world alluded to...
Thank you, artist, for lending this piece your breath and imagination!
Now, I'm off to listen to this a second time (and, possibly, third) to better appreciate the dense soundscape that you weave.
Much love and gratitude, brother

<3😇😎
Yeah, those vocals got quite the work over between the multi-pitched layering and processing.
I’d be curious how many repeats one could listen to before exhausting the wealth of gems in there, surely more than three... lol. 💖
Haha, I heard it less than 3 times (so far) & it still retains its power 🤓✌🏼Will listen some more, in the near future, with fresh ears 👂🏼
I can still hear some Yahia in the enunciation but yeah, radically different voice! This is another amazing collaboration. The musical moment at "And, yet" is perfect. Wonderful change of pace there. Beautiful :) Resteemed
Much appreciated, brother Carl, you know I value your opinion, and ear (I think that moment at "And, yet" also caught my attention, first time around)! Thank you, for your ongoing support, and @rok-sivante for gifting me a work of beauty and mystery to be excited about, all over again. :D
This is remarkable quality for an iphone recording, I've seen stronger equipment with less mixing down. I think that a composer is never to be measured by their equipment as much as by their ability to make the best of their tools.
My favorite part from @yahialabidi is
I thought this was brilliant because even without the previous verse, every moment is a prayer to those not trying to speed through, bustling and hustling away their existence. This was not my preferred genre, but I did enjoy it nonetheless.
The exchanging of ideas leads many outside of comfort c:
Fascinating. Just fascinating.
Your posts always remain me that this world will always be bigger, richer and more awesome that I can possibly imagine.
Cool. I guess my writing has been well-infused with psychedelic essence - a wonderful gift to pay forward, especially for those who haven’t yet dipped their toes into the realms of the spirit medicines... 😎

Warm regards from me @rijalaronaceh.
this beautiful song lyric, especially when in chant this song in the accompaniment with the music is very beautiful in the hear
Honest comment
I tried to listen it twice, but it didn't work, maybe (definitely) because of my poor internet connection.
So I read those lines and imagined that they must be sung in a soft and smooth voice, and I liked this line
So I thought I should appreciate the effort.
I will try to listen to it later.
posting is verry good, really a very good poem
wow , cool , I think this poem is about people who don't listening to others and it's like an advice to those people to open their ears for those nice sounds around them , actually as a poet I like this poem very much

beautiful poetry, telling a life full of secrets as if drifting in the wind in the panting breath holding back tired from the pressing keep moving do not be shy to live meaningful.
I was carried away to share in beautiful poetry.
Very cool dynamic to this @rok-sivante. And an iphone! Who'da thunk!?
Hello, @rok-sivante, I've noticed that you have a lot of SP, I've also noticed that your posts are good.
It's not my problem, I do not want to cause problems, but I think you should invest your voting power better.
Why do I say that?
The user @tfame3865 has many SPAM in his blog, please stop voting for his publications, that does not bring anything good to STEEM.
I understand that you can spend your vote as you wish, but I think that vote could be assigned to someone who shares better articles.
Have a nice day @rok-sivante.
Who are you to be the judge of that?
Have you any idea why I’ve consciously chosen to support him? No.
You don’t know the content of our conversations that have taken place offline.
Thus, what is your qualification to be in a position to objectively assess my decision-making process when it comes to the matter...?
And although it may seem paradoxical to the above - thank you for this sharing. It’s the second time this week I was notified of his ‘potential abuse,’ and upon checking over the content my SteemVoter has been voting on, I agree to a degree - there is stuff that borders on spam, repeat posting the same quotes. Thanks for stepping out of your comfort zone to bring this to my attention.
I do not want problems, I just thought you did not know what I was doing.
Excuse me, I guess your reasons will have, have a good day @rok-sivante.
Sir sorry to say and sorry if i offend you, the so much posting will stop today. It was a result of an issue which i had and i told @rok-sivante. Thanks to God the issue is now over and it will be sorted out today. You wont be seeing multiple post as such again. I make use of dsound and gaming post only. I hope you understand @colovhis . @rok-sivante has been the one helping me and am happy he has really helped me. I just got little more issue to sort and right now i can cope post once. Thanks sir
Perfect, let's try to do a better job with our articles. Have a nice day @tfame3865, sorry for the inconvenience.
And yet every secret wants to be told
listen to this song nodding head .. cooll @rok-sivante !
the Egyptian poet is very nice to hear, and reminds me of something I've been through and will never return, whatever his hopes of returning the past is impossible, but by listening to the Egyptian poet with lyrics (yada yada yada) it can make me the past without expecting a future full of challenges
Relaxing music, slowly man ...
Nice poetry 👍 likes 👌

I really agree with you that listening to music, can eliminate penak all day work.
Likewise, I often listen to music after working on pamelo plantation project, this fruit has extraordinary nutrients, one of which can heal the heart.
of course this is a very unusual thing is not it.
can you help me to share information on how to develop this project, through the content I created especially for you if you want to read and all the steemians ..?

This was splendid on the grounds that even without the past verse, each minute is a petition to those not attempting to speed through, clamoring and hustling ceaselessly their existence.operating on this feeling level, it felt like The Voice was that of the very earth moaning, and trees, and the whole characteristic world suggested.
I miss you @ rok-sivante. I'm looking for your arrival ...
beautiful music and cool ...:)
