This my interpretation/arrangement of an Icelandic pop song, about friendship. I did this some years ago. I've completely forgotten the title of the song, but it has a really beautiful chorus, which I took and turned into an orchestral piece.
The following video is a screen video recording of the score for the piano part:
Here's some information about this particular track, and the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that I use for those who are interested:
DAW = Cakewalk Sonar X2
Piano = Dimension Mini Piano.sfz
VST = East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra (Ewqlso) Gold Edition
Ewqlso instruments:
Mark tree, violins, cello, contrabass, french horns, glockenspiel, timpani, flute, picolo
Hope you enjoyed listening to this. And I just wanna say I love you, my friend, with all my heart.

I love what you did with the violins, it's so soft , you had those "piano forte" moment! I wish it would last longer!!
Hi, Ed :) Thanks so much for the super kind comment. I'm glad you liked it. What is "piano forte" moment? I've never had any formal music training, so I don't know alot of the terms. And I don't know any chord names haha.. I mostly just play by ear.. But i do know some really basic note reading.. like where"do" is and where the sharp and flat notes are lol.. My sis who took organ lessons taught me.. But yeah just enough knowledge to have fun with computer music like what I did here :)
I don't think I've used the right terminology anyway , what I mean is I love the way you play with intensity , you have very soft moments, and intense one. When it goes Piano means it's softer, and Forte means the intensity is stronger!
I am amazed what you can accomplish with no formal training! I am actually blown away! Can you still read music?
Oh I see. I just googled it. That's Italian right? :) Yeah I do try to put some feeling into my music and singing :)
Lol I guess if you genuinely have a passion for something, and you've been doing it all your life, you just kinda become good at it. I don't have a lot of hobbies growing up .. and I don't have any friends .. so most of my energy has been focused on music and singing.. Yeah I can read music a little bit... I just know that "Do" is third space from the bottom when you see a treble clef ..second space for bass clef.. And I know how to identify sharp and flat notes.. And that's it.. I just used that bit of knowledge to write music on my computer :)
Yeah don't worry , score reading is not much needed nowadays, what you need to know is how intervals sound like, so how a third sounds like. major, minor, a 4th , a 5th.
You don't even really need to know the notes by heart!
I have a confession to make, I don't use the bass key much so It would take me forever to read !
Anyway I am very impressed!
