This an electro track I composed and produced a few years back call 2033. For some context, this was created for a fashion shoot I directed and when we talked with the artistic director (who I consider a close friend) about what music she wanted for this thing she said "Post apocalyptic, Mad Max style, Clockwork Orange vibes, with some heavy industrial sounds"....
Really? I asked.
Well it just so happens that I have a predilection for this style, so let's hear what I came up with...
► Listen on DSound
► Listen from source (IPFS)
For some or other reason it reminds me of Japan. Im liking the industrial side. Old time listener of that sound. Has your signature sound all over it.
Probably one of the oldest track I dropped in here so far. For me this is a bit an historical track in a sense that it is exactly half way, in my electro evolution. Japan underground fashion culture did in fact influence the music a little bit and the fashion shoot attached with it also.
I have been fortunate enough to go there and play. The place is amazing to say the least. Old tracks are good to rehash. Often gives me a sense of where I'm going and what I have left behind.
that drums killing
Yes the first drum pattern is really dirty.... on purpose as usual.
