this is a great show. I like the points you're making with the new age crap-rap. I love real rap, real hip hop but this new nonsense just doesn't vibe with me. you got yourself a new follower in me.
Definitely, keep it up, I really enjoyed the podcast, not too long and backed with some info, humor and just a good listen. You gutted me a bit when saying you are actually white, how dare you. But it is ok I am looking forward to all your future episodes.
And now I have some ammo in the I like Immortal Technique or Watsky over Lil Wayne . Did I use the hiphop vs rap difference correctly there?
Yes BUT Lil Wayne has always been dope. Listen to all the Carters and you'll see how he pioneered the game and in a way paved the road for all of these new wave rappers trying to jock his steez! Thank you so much for the feedback and love for real!! I'm so awkward with this stuff it's not even funny.
I don't think Lil Wayne has always been dope. He honestly didn't start getting dope until around Carter 2, that's when he really perfected his style and scheme... Before that he was cool, but wasn't really like "WOW"
What would you like for me (and potentially others) to talk about?? I really wanna warm up to you guys so all the feedback I can get would be amazing!!
Anything goes, I listened to Hip-Hop back in the day (1990 somewhere) but lost interest when the industry decided to cater the fuck shit stack.
Pick a track, dissect it, teach hip-hop :-)
And what about hip-house? Maybe later down the line?
TR-808?
Linndrum?
I kinda liked the length of the podcast.
though wouldn't mind if it was 30 minutes or so. Just let it grow on you. Do what feels right.
You seemed to enjoy yourself in this first episode, hold on to that vibe. When you enjoy yourself then we do the same i guess. Maybe also tell us a bit about your podcast setup.
But first of all listen to your inner voice, and bring the noise.
WOW! I didn't know an oldhead would listen to my ass!! Thank you so much for the constructive feedback! For real, I want to expand on this HELLA but first and foremost I want to make sure people enjoy it because if they don't then why would I continue? I love to entertain, and I hope we can be your Hip-Hop Podcast of choice!! ;)
I'll experiment with 30 minutes the next episode!!!
We are all new on steemit. Most important is for you to enjoy what you do Wham-rap? :-) damn that was 1982... i'm indeed getting old .. LOL
Communicate your vibe to your listeners. Just like you did in this first episode. You did just fine, keep exploring and let the podcast grow on you. See where it leads you, it will shape itself.
Was cool, wished it was a bit longer. Good tips! Keep em coming man!
