Anyone for snorkeling this New Years Eve? / Thank you !

This guy is keen anyway. Perhaps the mother-in-law is over and he fancied a bit of peace and quiet? :)

Quiet is something I'll have this year, no party for me. But I will get to hang out with my mum, something that hasn't happened at New Years since i was a early teen.

I've spent new years in Wales, England, Spain, and Bangkok General Hospital (probably the strangest one on the list!), and so I'm due one with family I think.

Honestly, I'm never that excited about the turning of the year. On the 31st of December I find myself looking back at the years' misses and 'should have done betters' take over my mind, far more than looking forward.

Reflecting, whilst looking at reflections in the water.... ok?!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's interacted with me and provided words and up-votes of encouragement this year. Rather obviously, if it was not for YOU, I would not be here :)

It's been a year (or at least 8 months) of solid 'grind', and pretty amazingly to me, I find myself the 194th most followed account on the platform. I still can't believe that number, but I ran the query a few times just to be sure!

I don't have tens of thousands of Steem Power to lavishly gift out to people, but I have managed to vote 20202 times and reach 3541 different accounts with an up-vote in the last 12 months. This second number is about 25% of all the accounts that created a post yesterday, not a bad effort!

Engagement has always been important to me on Steemit and this year (since becoming active again in April) I have managed to write 8380 comments, totaling 1,126,482 characters.

Whilst I find New Years resolutions a bind and hardly ever bother making one, I'm going to break the trend and see if I can beat these totals next year - that's my goal for 2018.

What is/are yours goals and resolutions?

This brings me to the end of my vlogging and blogging for 2017, and I'm going to leave you with a message I woke up to this morning, which gave me huge boost today.

Hey bro! all the best wishes in 2018, stay awesome! Thanks for the support, you are one of few people I really respect around here, cuz you grind! I am so happy to see the huge payouts on your posts and stuff, VLOGS are really cool so keep it up!!! Even tho I maybe miss a post here and there, you will always have my 100% support man, no matter what! You support me from the very start, my top homie you know, my life was never easy and in this past 6 months here I learned a lot about myself and the pump of SBD price made an impact on my life to be honest even tho I get a few $ per post.
