Definitely the right time to go for paid delegation if you've always been tempted!
Got to make a big deal out of it and produce lots of good content to use as payment though, or else join the self-vote crew and gamble with the 'law' :D

I've been leasing for about 4 months now with @minnowbooster. I get 200 sp or so each couple of weeks and extend them longer and longer - so now I'm out to 20 weeks. It has made a huge difference for me. I self-vote my posts and about 5 of my own comments a month maybe. Everything else is votes on others. But I keep worrying about the "law" you speak of. I hope I am too small to upset anyone.
Minnowbooster is more expensive than Pimptrades and takes a cut. You won't need to upvote your own comments if you create awesome work.
I only upvote my comments to push them up the chain if I'm on a post with a lot of comments and I want some visibility. It's only a few times a month. Do you ever upvote yours? I'm a bit torn on it, but they did recently give us that option.
I'll will look at your option next time I get a delegation. TY
I never upvote my own comments.
or my own posts
Not upvoting your own posts is a terrible mistake.
Nobody gives a fuck if you do it. It is your post and you deserve to upvote it with 100%.
I get where you are coming from but it just goes against what I believe for myself. I don't care what others do as I don't think it's wrong. It's just not right for me.
If you don't produce content twice per day then what are you doing on Steem anyway?
Delegations are like Steroids, they are fucking powerful as long as you keep lifting. But if you stop lifting you won't gain anything from them besides an emotional rollercoaster.
