Dragonfruit is naturally quite low in sugar but it will still satisfy your sweet tooth. It’s the perfect fruit to maintain your weight. They have a high fiber content, which can help with poor digestion and constipation. Dragon fruit is an excellent source of monounsaturated fats, helping the heart stay in great condition. If you wish to keep the recipe lower in sugar you can also swap the banana for fresh or frozen summer berries such as blueberries, strawberries or raspberries.
Kiwifruit each day may greatly lower your risk for blood clots and reduce the amount of fats in your blood, therefore helping to protect cardiovascular health. Romaine lettuce is a good source of iron, calcium, and omega 3.
Ingredients
1 Large frozen banana
1 Dragonfruit
1 kiwi
Juice half a lime
Handful greens (spinach, romaine lettuce, kale)
Water from 1 young coconut (add meat for a thicker smoothie)
Optional Ingredients:
Then add any of your favourite superfoods to the mix if you like!
-1 heaped tbsp chia seeds
1 heaped tbsp vanilla protein powder
½ tsp acai powder
1 heaped tsp maca.

Dragon fruit shows up occasionally here in Sydney grocery store. But I can imagine this for breakfast and maybe I would add some chia seeds and flax seeds to it as well. Thanks for sharing! ❤❤❤
