Thanks for the share also Andrew on my other post about Iran's marches and western media reporting. The other day you asked about how to get more exposure here on Steemit. I think the key to doing well and attracting followers is original and thought provoking content combined with following and learning from the right people, plus also sharing well outside of the Steemit community. Then just go slowly but surely and keep in daily touch with others. Make mentions in the comments on their posts and build a following. You are already sharing some great material so that's a big plus. I'll try to upvote you when I can to help you get some exposure and look out for material you share.
Clarityofsignal thanks for getting back to me. I think that's good advice. I've made a bit of an f'up though. I created my account using my real name, I didn't realise that you wouldn't be able to change it later! I've got lots of ideas for articles on politics etc I've written an article on the protests in Iran, I hesitated and now it doesn't look so original as I've seen my ideas repeated across RT and some alternative media. Still, I think it's relevant.... But when you go up against the Zionist cabal, or even just support national sovereignty, diplomacy, peace etc. people are going to come after you. I've had some blow back before for talking about these things on media, even lost some customers from my business. Freedom of speech etc is getting pretty bad in the UK, and the media and education system is brainwashing people to an alarming degree. Seems a shame to abandon this account now so I'll probably just keep it. I was stupid to sign up with my name, I just did it quickly; I only signed up to follow Patrick, I didn't think it through, that I'd want to/would post my own stuff on here. I want to make a difference and speak out, but I have other responsibilities I have to consider. Steemit and the way it works is all a bit new to me, I've seen that there is a way to create an anonymous account, outside of the Steemit site, as you can't create another account with the same phone and email, right. You have to pay for it, but I think it's worth it. I'll probably be quiet for a bit, then start up on the new account. I'll keep this account too, to support the channels I like and resteem, but I won't post any of my own (controversial) content on it. cheers.
