Should you buy steem? that is up to you. But if you decide to, buy gradually. Chinese new years usually brings mad dips. So we could see a 0.20 Steem price or lower in Feb, a good time to buy. But no one can predict these crazy markets.

So the paper that we currently call money has value? It’s not made of gold or diamonds or even silver. It is literally made out of the same stuff as toilet paper. Don’t be like the guy who rode a horse and said that the car was useless Tony. Crypto currency is going to kill fiat. Adapt to change or be left behind.

I understand that fiat paper has inflated value. I myself roll my fiat into "tangible" silver. Silver and gold will continue to be REAL money.
However, due to the unadoptable daily use of $STEEM it's nowhere near a hedge against the collapse of fiat when it comes.
