It all depends on choice -- if people get into consumption, then robots will take over while we play our VR forever. If we get into production and coexisting, we can rise with them and have a relationship where they do the things we don't want to do. Sure they can do everything better than us, but that doesn't mean they have to replace us (outside of the workplace, it's almost given that they'll take over the workplace).
