RE: The Steem Sister Show - Episode 69 // The Art of Making People Feel Good

I haven't watched this yet... but can I just say that your cover photos have just been so good lately! Like, they were already really good, but now they're really extra super good. Can't wait for the end of 2019 montage...

THIS EPISODE MADE ME FEEL SO JAZZED!

Thank you both, you're super sweet. I have to admit that something like the SCC would make me feel a little nervous going into it, but I'm honestly just excited to hang with the SCCSSS in the 2nd coolest city in America.

Lea, the secret to Mary's full profesh jazz hands is her head movements... that's where the gold is.

You guys were spot on with so many points. I honestly don't really take too much seriously, which totally includes my own ego, which in turn means you can just be playful most of the time... and 90% of the time people just love it. I think I learnt it from working in IT where everyone is a bit dry and awkward... gotta jazz that up.

The other point I loved about giving people the gift of your energy, and how you feel good from that interaction too, it's a total 2 for the price of 1 deal. Dudes do complain about not being able to give compliments to women, and I'd argue there's a huge difference between giving someone a compliment to get something from them (a date, phone number, a sale or work or something) versus just letting them know they've done an awesome job or that their jacket is rad. So I think energy and intention are the two keys there.

Ugh, that cover photo really is great... you can't not smile looking at it.

Um, anyway, here's my question for the opposite show:

Is saying 'No' kinder than saying 'Maybe'?
