Ah, this was so much fun!! While I'll always enjoy the answering of questions, the banter at the start made me laugh out loud so many times. I honestly can't wait for Austin!
I can't promise you I'll remember the cheer, or that I'll only ask questions that are drawn out of a hat, but I can promise that we'll do an episode of SSSAAE (Aussie Accent Edition).
Proposing after someone had an amazing life-changing week is the very definition of controlling. Great decision making Lea!
Hmm, are these flavourites?
I LOVE Awkwardity! This is why The Office and Parks & Rec are my favourite shows forever... with The Office UK being the most amazing thing. I'm particularly awkward in the US, especially with wait staff or retail staff who don't get my jokes because they don't understand my accent. So awkward, it's hilarious. I always embrace the awkward because it makes me laugh later.
My question is;
Can you name a time when you made someone else feel super awkward?
I work a lot on IT projects, so I've been to a lot of mega-awkward farewell lunches. When the awkward silences would carry on for way too long, I'd pipe in with "So Mary, what will you miss most about Bob?" and people would laugh and say something silly, or they'd be nice and say something really sweet. Once, I happened to pick the one person at the table who truly hated the person who was leaving... I had no idea, but everyone else did and loved how awkward it was. The person took the question way too seriously and super struggled to come up with anything... it was amazing. Anyway, she didn't let me forget it for a year and even brought it up at my own farewell lunch.
