Joshua Nowicki took this photo from Stevensville, Michigan at the shoreline of Lake Michigan looking towards Chicago. He shouldn't have been able to see this due to the curvature of the "globe Earth" according to Science.
Chicago is about 94 km (58.4 miles) away from Michigan in a straight line over the lake.
The highest tower in Chicago, the Willis Tower is 442 m (1,451 ft) high.
Due to the curvature of the "globe Earth," we should lose sight of 626m (2055 ft) at this distance. That means that the Willis tower should be hidden from sight due to curvature. Not only is the Willis Tower can be seen in its full height but much lower buildings as well. This is a clear proof for the Earth being flat.
