I created this logo reveal for a fictional film production company using stock footage and Sound FX in Premiere and After Effects. This was a fun little project I put together last night and this afternoon. I was able to turn one piece of footage into a logo sting w/ sound design using just assets online with no third party plugins. Always challenge yourself to learn and grow!

I added a rain effect in AE, as if the camera is placed behind a window or piece of glass with the rain drizzling down. This part definitely was the most time consuming. I used the cc particle world plugin that comes packaged with AE, played with the particle and physics animators to create rain, then combined that with various other layers of texture and noise to get a vintage-y looking shot. The shot rack focuses onto the car to reveal an animated a little logo into the shot.
Here's the final shot without Sound FX:
I then moved the shot into Premiere, created the white vintage-looking frame - kinda like a 16:9 video polaroid - and finished the sound design in Premiere. That was the workflow to create this.
I love encouraging people to create, not curate. Having the hard skills to create is far more powerful than simply sharing others work. #creatornotcurator.
