DAD's (Digtal Asset Discussion's Series) regarding some big picture views of the cryptocurrency markets. Towards the end of the video I give my thoughts on three areas of our day to day life which will have the most value added from blockchain tech, along with three specific coins I think are in prime position to do that disruption and value adding.
Open question to the Steemit community... which areas of our every day lives do you see being most impacted by the blockchain revolution once it goes mainstream?

Social media
It's gonna be huge. Won't be long before steemit is in classrooms as the online message boards and digital communications. Basically as a currency for any sort of digital interaction which earns reputation.
Will undoubtedly be dozens of variations, but Steemit is sprinting out to an early lead and is already a $1 Billion ecosystem. Pretty incredible.
What about privacy?
I have heard of some variations but I haven't investigated. I think the competitors are very small and limited.
SafeX will be implementing a privacy coin based on cryptonight, that's one to watch. Monero and a lot of the other cryptonight coins are very centralized from what I've seen. They are easy to get via minergate though, even regular computers will be able to get a non-trivial amount if they set up an account with them.
I've actually come across several interesting privacy coins as I'm doing some research on Crypto-Bridge. Will be discussing those in the near future along with the BCO token. Some interesting stuff over there.
I would think Blockchian would have the most affect in the medical field, treatments, record keeping and insurance.
A more efficient and organized medical system would be very helpful. Wonder how this is going to work with the recent repeal of some very horrible laws in America? Could be some big potential there, you make a good point.
The advertising industry will be affected by this as well.
One of the things I like best about steemit is there aren't any advertisements! Of all the things that need some honesty injected into them, the advertising industry is definitely up there.
