Catching Big Pike and Bass: My first Dtube adventure.

in #dtube7 years ago

I have been wanting to do my first @dtube video for some time but have been a little bit nervous about my skills in the video and editing department. Last week I decided it was time to finally take the leap and create my first ever video.

On Friday last week, I went fishing on the Mississipi River here in my little town of Carleton Place. I decided to take some footage of the outing and try my hand at creating an @dtube video. It was a very successful day of fishing. I ended up catching 3 large Northern Pike, all over 24 inches. I also caught a really nice Small Mouth Bass and some Sunfish.

I hope you enjoy my first dtube post. Thanks for watching.

Cool stuff. Didn't know you have Mississippi river there.

Yeah, when I first learned about it I thought it was so cool that we had our own Mississippi. Not quite the same size as the more well known river.

Great job! looked like fun ;)

just one suggestion : for video recordings, try not to pan so fast, gets dizzy for the viewer 8) good first try

Thanks for the feedback. Still so much to learn. Can’t wait to do another video!

This is so much fun! :D Very nice to see some of your fishing adventures I know you have because you're bragging about your meals :') (I'm hungry!)

Keep it up, I'd love to see more of this kind of content :-)

Thanks so much. I really enjoyed making it. The fish were yummy. A fish fry video might be in the works

Good video my friend and good job on the fish! Those pike sure fight well, so I can imagine it felt like hooking the bottom of the lake! Good looking smallmouth too!

Thanks, Pike are so much fun to catch. They hit real hard and fight you coming in. I wish I could have got a clip of when one of them hit and bringing them in but that part was a little tough being out there by myself this time. Might need to invest in a GoPro.

Successful fishing trip! Welcome to Dtube!

Thanks!! I’m trying to follow in your footsteps!

Fun adventure to go fishing with you. Had to adjust volume a couple times, audio levels. Great work over all tho man, I really enjoyed nice tackle slideshow. Shopping in nature, love it! I look forward to future content!

It’s crazy how much time and money that can be spent on tackle. It’s funny, I never need new tackle but I always want new tackle.

Awesome first DTube video!!! :) I love fishing so it was great to see you caught so many fish. :)

Thanks so much!!! I know there are still things to improve but I have already learned so much! Already looking forward to the next.

You are very welcome! Really you did a great job for the first one. Can't wait to see the next one! :)

WoooooHoooooo! That is a cool video. Just like Bill Dance. Is he still a thing? That's a nice day of fishing. I have a feeling that you get from fishing what I get from motorcycle riding. Peace and contentment.

Very nicely done. Thank you for it!

Tom, I could sit out there for hours on end without even catching fish and be akin pure bliss!!! There is no bad day in the water and a bad day fishing is 10 times better anybday at work.

Wow! How beautiful is it there!? So gorgeous. Well done in your vid 💓

Thanks!!! It really is beautiful out there.

Awww dude that was pretty awesome for your first video, you should definitely make this a regular thing!

I certainly do want to start incorporating more videos into my repertoire of content. Thanks for the kind words.

nice post my friend

Start to record more of your fishing trips.... your already out there. For people like me with no real local fishing, it would be easy to watch on a regular basis.@broncofan99 that was great for your first video.

I have to say, I think I might be hooked on this. Definitely more videos to come.
