Good work, Terry. I just watched your DTube video. Nice intro to the new platform.
I am excited to see new features evolve to help creators and consumers. I encourage everyone using DTube to be patient while new features and functionality are developed. I've been a YT Partner for a long time and have had my share of frustrations with YT. In the early days there were many sharp edges with regards to uploading/sharing content as well as on the audience side of the experience. As we start to bring DTube into our content-creation workflow many sharp edges will become evident, but we need to get pass these as the developers refine the service. This is very exciting!
Keep up the great work.
Cheers,
BuckyDurddle
I agree with you, buckydurddle. This is exciting to see DTube. As I said in my post, I love YouTube and watch training videos and fun videos almost every day. I still like the fact that now there is an additional source for video. This new source, DTube, provides the opportunity to watch videos that YouTube wouldn't want on their platform. As I said in the video, that is fine as YouTube has the right to allow only what they want and what stays within their rules on their own platform.
Thank you for your kind words, buckydurddle. As one videographer to another, I apprecite your comments.
cant wait to see the youtubers move to dtube
Yes, I think it is time. Glad to have DTube as an alternative.
