I'm glad to hear you're just as excited about being on Steemit/DTube as I am. The Steemit BlockChain may actually have the infrastructure to compete with YouTube. The biggest problem competitive video platforms had was trying to maintain all the uploaded content. When you consider that 400 hours of videos are uploaded to YouTube every minute, that's a lot of content to have to house. Let's hope that the Steemit BlockChain will be able to support all the traffic.

The Steem Blockchain is robust and has the capacity to handle as much contents as possible. Competing with YouTube is not what this is about, it is about creating a truly decentralized online community.
