This year's New Year welcoming was more on the relaxed side for me. @biasnarrative and I got a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant in town. The place was so crowded, even after making a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes because of the traffic the restaurant received. Needless to say, we destroyed the free bread and then our dinners ;)
I didn't want to go out since the "feels like" was -18 or something like that. This winter has been rough already π I was a little bummed out that we couldn't go out and celebrate with friends, go downtown, or watch the ball drop event but that's ok. Not every celebration has to involve tons of people and partying. Especially when it's death cold out haha.
Anyways, have a fabulous year ahead everyone. If you made New Year resolutions, don't let them fall through. You got this! Looking forward to see more entries for #my2017!

You are correct. Celebrating does not require tons of people around you. Sometimes, you just have to be happy and warm. hahaha
It is always warm here in the Philippines so going outside is not an issue.

I would say celebrations with fewer people now sound more appealing to me. I certainly don't enjoy huge street crowds. The only place where I can tolerate crowds is at metal festivals!
