We are vacationing in Florida at Little Gasparilla Island and it has been a perfect opportunity to do some cycling on the Salsa Fargo and Surly Ogre. We've learned a few things about island cycling, the sand, trails, and southwest Florida area that today we'll share in this episode. Hope you enjoy!

I can cycle for about 10 minutes before my legs feel like they're full of acid. LOL
Having said that, one of the best memorable breaks I've had was in New Forest, England where all we used to get around were bikes. I also enjoyed cycling in Lanzarote. In these two occasions I think the joy of the scenery trumped the pain in my legs, and saddle discomfort. It also helped that there were almost no cars around either. Not even golf carts :) . Just wild animals.
