I don't think this guy's analysis is very sound at all, however EOS is a great buy for its technical merit, not because of some ridiculous price analysis.

I don't see the appeal for privacy coins really. Regulation is going to specifically target them and their users in the future since the only use case is for evading taxes and illicit purchases. If we really want to have a currency better than fiat, all the business needs to be done in the open. As the old saying goes, "privacy is for pedophiles."

Agree with you. On top of that, the mass market is not waiting to avoid taxes, they are not waiting for anonymity. The will come onboard when a coin is useful in their daily lives, which essentially means the confirmation time of a money transaction must become almost realtime for the coin to be relevant in the daily lives of anybody on this planet, namely as a payment coin.

I think @christopher35 is saying that he is up 2$ (now 5$ it seems) per coin on his investment.
