Hi James, I don't know enough about internal Venezuelan affairs to pass judgement other than knowing that the negative weaknesses of socialism are likely to have at least part of the population unhappy. However, all considered, it might have been the better option for the nation as a whole for the time being. Knowing the pattern when 'globalists' get their hands of a nation's assets spells nothing good for the population as a whole. Just look at income disparities in Nigeria, as only one example.
On the other hand, the typical imperial pattern is so perfectly clear that it could justly be considered ludicrous for anyone pretending not to see it as such.
