It is said Obama's mom was an asset of the 'behind the curtains' USA government, or 'id', so to speak. It follows that he was consequently shaped at least by the influences emanating from that background, if not directly steered, to express their desires as part of the public government facade, or 'ego' - thus nearly by definition being part of the "swamp" Trump promised to drain.
The logic makes sense, so it might even be true!
