As a three year successful Youtuber who has two Youtube channels that are very active and that allow me to live life as a full time Youtube on an amazing tropical island in Koh Phangan, Thailand i wanted to share with you all my comparison of D Tube vs Youtube.
In this video i share with you many pros and cons of both D Tube and Youtube and why i at this current moment prefer Youtube over D Tube and as i mention in the video i am very hopeful for D Tube as a video platform which is relatively new video platform that has a lot of potential.
One thing i would love to state as i do in the video is i love D Tube it has a lot of pros in comparison to Youtube but it also has a lot of cons which are more related to D Tube being relatively new with a lot of issues that can be easily fixed in the near future and also D Tube is no were near as big as Youtube.
But D Tube has insane amounts of potential and it has far from even come close to reaching its full potential as of yet, so i am very hopefully for D Tubes future and its so great to finally see a rival for Youtube.

I had an my own self realisation days ago of how to make D tube work and it has paid off today! Thanks brother for telling me about D.tube!
Of course my friend, we need great content creators like you over here. This is the best comparison video I have seen so far. Evidently @dtube thinks similar to me.
The only things I want to add is that the post after 7 (not 10) days, as any post on Steemit, you will get paid and you will stop earning money (though you will still earn reputation, followers, as your post get more views). Also you will have to pay 25% of your author gain to DTube. That is done to cover servers (and I guess development) costs. This happens automatically.

You may also want to check out @dlive. Not only can you livestream, but they also host videos like DTube & YouTube.
Dtube as a platform has a long ways to go but it's already come really far along. The fact that there are no ads is already a blessing and a convenience!

Thanks for the video @conscalisthenics but you got one thing wrong about the resolution on Dtube, I am currently watching your video in 720p 🙂 They did this update about a month ago.

After some months on DTube, I seriously prefer YouTube for now. DTube can (or will) get better with time but for now YouTube is still takes the number one spot in terms of development, interface, integrations and user experience.

i cant get shit to play on dtube i have to upload to youtube and embed and i can't stand youtube
i know its not your problem to fix just venting
I have had issues with D Tube videos playing also but recently i have noticed their loading a lot more for me now but their still not super fast.
