I guess the lightning network will improve ethereum's capacity to process more transaction. Honestly, nobody has any control over how Steem or Ethereum will do in the future. In my opinion, if you are in doubt, just invest in both the technology. It definitely takes the guesswork out. I still see huge potential for both platforms.
