Tron (TRX) has exploded in price between December 2017 and January 2018. Then the market correction happened.
However, the most anticpated event in Tron's roadmap is coming very soon. The mainnet (their own blockchain) will be live in June 2018.
Mainnet launch
The Tron mainnet launch will take place on 31st May 2018. From this point onwards, Tron (TRX) will have its own blockchain. Up until now Tron tokens are ERC-20 based and running on the Ethereum network.
This quick guide to the Tron (TRX) Mainnet Release will help to ensure you are prepared for the token swap. Exchanges that support the TRX swap include Binance/Bibox/Bittrex/BitZ and more.
Token Swap
The easiest way to ensure you are taking part in the token swap is to move your tokens to Binance (or Bittrex etc), some exchanges have different prices to withdraw from the exchange later so keep that in mind. At the time of writing Binance charges 61 TRX, whereas Bittrex charges only 1 TRX.
