Well I took some video of me playing with my almost new Ground Pounder . So far my only modification has been to swap the stock 23 tooth pinion for a 17 tooth to try to get some additional torque .
To be blunt the speed both stock and with the 17 tooth pinion are acceptable but really the truck should have came with a 550 size motor instead of the 540 20 turn motor as it really needs more torque to churn through snow and give it truly brisk acceleration on flat terrain . A stock Clodbuster though heavier will do much better in these conditions mostly due to have duel 27 turn 540 motors .
