RE: I'm Finally Hands Free! + A Snippet of My Day (Rainforest Hike) | Vlog #5

in #dtube7 years ago

Hey! This is awesome! I’m now fully inspired to try filming outside at some point. I should have done it today. I was skiing outside, and it was spectacular weather. But then I flaked, and did my video inside :) This has inspired me to go for it one of these next couple of videos.

Awesome atmospheric sounds, by the way. I loved listening to everything in the background!

Thank you! I kind of just decided on short notice to film outside. I definitely enjoy the comfort of filming in a private space but I'm working on my confidence and just getting out and about to create more dynamic. Plus it was so beautiful and I wanted to share that with you all. The rainforest is always so vibrant and noisy. I love just running through it and listening to the sounds. Plus the rain added a nice touch!

Definitely! I also really dug the loud raindrops on the roof at the beginning :) I’m not sure Im up to the task of filming around people yet / I’ll have to work on that!

I've been lucky so far that I haven't had people around but I know its a place I eventually want to move forward into. Just working on that fear and becoming more comfortable. I got very inspired after watching @harshilpatel's video about moving into discomfort and resonated with the idea that we grow so much from experiencing those things.

@harshilpatel is great at filming in public :) I’ve seen him do it a bunch, here in my town, before he took off. He’s done a lot to get me even to this point / it will be great to get more comfortable. Still not sure I can walk the streets with the selfie stick :)

Thats awesome that you guys know each other. He really does have great energy. I think its best to stick with what you're comfortable with and really refine that and then aim to improve and progress over time. Its all about the baby steps.
