Yes, please. We are doing it too with alternative currencies and walking away from the banks. The banksters rule the world. They do it by forcing their currency and banking systems on people. More and more people are walking away from those systems though. We don't need the banks or their systems of debt and enslavement.
There would be no war if the banksters didn't need them to secure resources, steal gold, and rearrange their tax farms for better control. People should walk away from the military and police systems too as they are walking away from the banks. As you said, a militia is all that's needed if your purpose is solely defensive.
