Oh! A soulmate! I'm pretty much on your same page, but I am in Thailand so some things are a bit different. I use turmeric roots here since they are easy to find and cheap. The powder is expensive although they do have it in capsules.
I never see kale, but I get cabbage, cauliflower and all kinds of greens. They sell the greens with the roots here and I eat those too.
My liver is put on a skewer and bbq'd on the street. So I can just walk by and get some anytime. Such luxury!
I'm not taking any supplements - too hard to find here and expensive. But I do have gelatin, bentonite clay, and borateem :)
I'm sure you are like me - if it makes me feel bad and have worse pain - I am not tempted. I don't eat much Thai food since most has eggplant or chili peppers and I don't eat nightshades anymore.
So glad to find another person seeing this benefit.
