Greetings! I meditate daily usually 15-20 minutes. Mostly Mindfullness practice. For me, I'm mostly focused on breath, with thoughts being visualized as clouds passing by and then back to breath. Sounds kind of strange, but works for me haha. I think a big part of it is loving yourself for sure and it is OK to say!
