After playing around with a friend's infrared camera creating a Infrared Black And White Video I wanted to try and see how it works out to shoot infrared in color. Let me tell you, reducing the reds and magenta to produce some kind of material people can actually can look at, was such a pain in the butt.
I'm not too convinced about the effect and I think Adobe Premiere Elements wasn't powerful enough to clear all the weird color casts. I'm going to be soon working with DaVinci Revolt, which is great for color grading. I will try again to edit that footage with the new software.
What do you think about Infrared in color, did you like it in black and white better? Are there any bits and pieces you especially like or dislike? Please tell me, I want to learn.

Crazy! I've heard of infrared film but didn't know there were infrared cameras. What camera is that?
I'm not sure if I like infrared videos, I kinda feel color blind staring at weird coloration for too long haha but there are some nice shots in your footage that would look great as an album cover.
You can have almost every mirrorless camera easily modded to be an infrared camera. If I buy a new camera I'm going to change my current one into IR. I think the color version is weird but in black and white, the images are just stunning.
Whoah, what modification should I do to make it IR?
