Before we get started;

I'd like to go ahead and give a small personal introduction, so without further-a-due, hey guys, I'm ggteixeira or just Ggt for short. I've been around Steemit for give or take six months now and have spent my time here both reading or making content due to with games. I personally love games. I've been playing them ever since I was a kid. I also happened to really like reading and writing. So keeping those two things in mind, I'm sure you guys could imagine how happy I was when I found out about Steemit. Here I find myself able to read and learn more about video games while also creating my own posts sharing some of my gaming stories or knowledge.

So far for this half-year I've really enjoyed my stay on this site and plan on sticking to it for a great many years to come. So, if you happen to find yourself into gaming content and what-not, check out my profile @ggteixeira. Maybe even drop a follow if you like what you see, who knows.

Moving on;

I'll be giving a brief description on DTube, a Steemit application I've used before and have been using to upload my videos to Steemit.

DTube is kind of like YouTube, but instead of being on it's own separate site is linked to Steemit directly instead. On DTube, content creators can upload and share video-form content relatively easily with other users on Steemit. There the videos just like posts on Steemit can be up-voted and commented on. All the up-votes and comments are shared between the Steemit post and the DTube video. For gamers like me who love to upload gameplays and clips from the games we play onto Steemit, DTube is a dream come true.

If you want to learn more about DTube what better place than a post made by the actual creator himself which you can find here. Furthermore if for whatever reason you find yourself with any questions or concerns regarding DTube, leave them in the replies section below and I'll answer as soon as possible.

About the Video!

Before moving onto the actual video I'd like to release a warning to everyone before they watch the video. There is a bit of swearing between the two players voice-communications. If this bothers you I'm sorry and just let me know in the replies section below for future reference.

Now, the actual video itself. I woke up relatively early today and happened to find another early bird on my TS3, a friend of mine that wanted to play League. He gifted me the new Santa Draven skin so I felt inclined to play the champion with him on the rift. We queued up for a League of Legends ranked flexed game with me as the ADC and him as the 'Support,' or other ADC in this case.

The commentary between both of us was generally more leaned back than some of my other videos but in my opinion still with a bit of humor and still fun to enjoy. I uploaded the entire 35 minute game so you guys would be able to see everything, from farming to my item-build path, all the kills, deaths and more. The actual game-play was kind of lacking and I could've done a bit better but none the less it's still enjoyable to watch. I hope you guys enjoy the video!

What is League of Legends?

Here's a quick description I've written up for previous League of Legends oriented posts.

"League of Legends (abbreviated LoL) is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and macOS. The game follows a freemium model and is supported by microtransactions, and was inspired by the Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne mod, Defense of the Ancients." A perfect description of the game which I borrowed from it's own wiki page.

I'd also like to add on that League of Legends is considered a MOBA game. What does this mean? Well, it means that it's a mix between RPG and RTS genre games where you select a champion from a large pool on heroes to play controlling them as you do battle on whichever map and game-mode you pick. League has a variety of different maps and game modes, but the single most popular is it's standard 5v5 on Summoner's Rift where the objective is to through whatever means get through the enemies' defenses and destroy their nexus (base) whilst also trying to protect your own. One reason why this game-mode is so popular is because of it's only use in the League of Legends large pro competitive scene.

Wrapping it all up.

That's just about everything regarding the actual post and video. I just want to go ahead like I have been in the past few posts of mine and apologize for the lack of schedule on my end of posting. Again, the Holidays have me all over the place this year so I can't stick to my new posting schedule like I promised. I will though jump right back into it as soon as possible and I'll make sure to let you guys know about that when it happens.

Either way, I hope you guys enjoyed the video and the post revolving around it. Feel free to let me guys know what you think in the replies section below. See you guys around and remember to spend your last few days 2017 having fun!
