I can't post on dtube either. My video and snap appear to both upload but when I click submit, I get an error message that says please upload a video before submitting. I have searched and searched for an answer. The only suggestions I get are be patient, try in a couple hours, use YouTube then embed that in your Steemit post. Why can't I just use dtube? Are they working on fixing this?
I keep seeing posts about how dtube is better than YouTube. No it's not, at least not until I can actually use it. I know my reply doesn't help you, but you're not alone, I feel your frustration.

I know! I have videos that I know would make money. But they're just sitting on my computer not making any 💰

I JUST POSTED MY FIRST VIDEO!!!

Here are the steps I took.

1. upload video to youtube
2. copy your youtube video address
3. open y2mate.com
4. paste address into the y2mate form as directed
5. download the new mp4 video file from y2mate to your computer
6. upload that new file to DTube

I hope this works for you too.

I had this problem too and logging out and back in seemed to help. However, subsequent experience has led me to believe this may have just been random chance...
