From what I remember reading some time ago, bitcoin was developed by the bitcoin guy Satoshi and he and a government (i forget which country this all started now) had made arrangements and plans in order to get it established. But when Satoshi kept his side of the deal and completed the creation of the coins and softwares, the gov deceived him, pretended there was no deal or arrangement and stole the mission in order to greedily do what they want without satoshi.
I dont think it is hacked as such. But countries like china have a lot of influence over it's use, with abilities to crash and up the market quite easily. But i think the more the "normal" person is getting involved in this digital currency, the volatile it will be because people are thinking with greed when they buy. I imagine in time bitcoin will not be as valuable as other upcoming currencies. I imagine bitcoin will end up being the greedy business mans tool.
The initial idea for bitcoin was to allow small transactions across the world, with small fees, making moving money around easy for everyone.
Since bitcoin opened up in the California trade centre, it has been going crazy, the fees and process times have got ridiculous. Only people moving chunks of money really benefit. It is no longer a coin for the poor and small.
However, im not sure if bitcoin cash comes into play to help things here... but it seems there is still a long way to go to iron out all these processing delays and fees.
Nontheless, it's very interesting movement in the world and has spawned a new currency age, most of which will eventually be about actual values for money, and not just valuable because someone rich and greedy says so... i hope! :)
I have been so leery about this bitcoin thing. When I see it mainstreaming, I really get leery. governments are always finding ways to infiltrate and take over.
Bitcoin was a CIA creation ....
Great !
