VideoBlog#001 - Just gettin' my feet wet and saying hello! (and I hate the word 'Vlog')

in #dtube7 years ago

I love the Steemit community - it's a completely different mood than you would find on other social media platforms. I don't think I would ever think or want to do a Vlog (egh) series on Facebook or Youtube, etc. which is why my videos will be exclusive to Steemit/DTube.

Today, I'm just getting my feet wet with this whole 'talking to no one' art, and tell you guys a little bit about what I do and what my videos might cover. Thanks for watching!

You have a pretty nice broadcast setup already with the mic and that so you look professional, keep it up. Please stay away from 'vlogs' about steemit itself it's like some weird narcissistic loop of posts. I am watching lol...

@hatchi Thank you - I'm an audio engineer so I have a lot of the equipment already lying around which is nice! And yes I totally agree. I think for Steemit to actually hold value, it's important that it doesn't just become a blockchain echo-chamber, where all Steemit talks about is the ups and downs of Steemit loll. I'll likely talk a lot of music and video game culture in these videos, and probably do some live instances of the two as well (live composition and audio work, or live gaming sessions). Thank you very much again for watching!

Right on I'm happy to see people about the community, not the token! Cheers

Agreed totally. Steemit is much better than other social platform.

Definitely is!
