I was listening to a podcast called 'Impact Theory' when I was at the gym, and the guest brought up the difference between someone who 'puts the consistent reps in' vs. 'Those who consistently have a deliberate practice.'
To simplify, deliberate practice is someone who constantly challenges their mind to get better vs, those who just 'put the reps in' tend to just do the same thing every day with no improvement.
It's a fascinating concept.
