I just wanna make sure you understand the system of Steemit @joeblue it is NOT like Youtube where just like or dislike content. With a like here on Steemit or Dtube you reward the creator with some Steem, same way around, when you dislike, it will reduce the value of the content. Watch some tutorials from @exyle or @joeparys they explain it very understandable. You are welcome.

PS: Unfortunately, I think that with rising popularity steemit will become more and more like youtube ... Systems are not what they should be but what people make of it and, especially with dtube looking like youtube, converters will start smashing that downvote button sooner or later just because they don't like you :(Thank you, having read the whitepaper I do understand the differences and just because I am a new user on the platform doesn't mean that I haven't been using the platform for quite some time. Maybe I was just hesitant because of privacy issues, the right to be forgotten (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_to_be_forgotten) or because I don't fully agree with some of the implementations (payout time cap) but thank you anyway for suggesting great content to new users.
