After hearing a lot of praises about this place, in June 2017, I finally visited Gokarna along with my friends. It was only then that I realized why this place is called mini-goa and why people say it's a must-visit place. With minimal crowd, beautiful beaches and amazing food, this small town has it all! And the cost of resorts and food here is unbelievably low.
The town has a fort which feels like ruins, a cave, few temples and about half a dozen amazing beaches. The best beaches here are- Kudle, Om, Paradise and Half-Moon Beach.
With not much to do here, you can sit back and relax by the sea. the weather here is awesome as well. So you needn't worry about getting tanned! Every beach has a number of shacks lined up which provides good food and beer/drinks as well.
The resorts are also well-maintained and are available at very reasonable prices. I stayed at a resort on Kudle Beach and it was one of the best stays I have had till now.
Visit this place if you get a chance and forget all your worries till you are there. Attaching a video compilation of my trip. Do see it, am sure after watching it you'll feel like you've already visited the place.
