Note that with the newer iPhones (iPhone x, xr, xs, xs Max) you cannot leave the battery percentage on permanently on the display like the older iPhones. Apple took this feature away supposedly because of the notch.
Anyway in this tutorial I show three ways how to see the exact battery percentage. Hope this helps and plz don't blame me for Apple taking this feature away like the prior iPhones.
