In this vlog, I am talking about what I have been up to in the last weeks.
I have dedicated all my free time to learning instead of posting on Steemit and now I am back to share with you my experience with online courses and why I would recommend online learning to everyone.
The platforms I am mentioning:
www.udemy.com
www.coursera.org
And if you are in the Czech Republic by any chance:
www.naucmese.cz
I am super excited about learning NLP on Udemy and would love to create my own online course once I finish it and learn as much as possible. Will keep you updated.
I believe that if you are passionate about something or think that you are passionate about something, the best next step that you can do is doing an online course. If you like the subject, you will finish it. If not, you will procrastinate and never reach the end of the course.
What's your experience with online courses?

I have heard about udemy in YouTube adverts as well and I was considering to do an online class about Adobe Photoshop. As you said all of the courses are massively discounted right now saying “only 1 day left”.
As a salesman my inner alarm bells ring when I see something like this. What is your opinion about udemy so far? Are the courses really worth to pay for or is it just something you could also find on YouTube for free?
Hi @liveyourdream, I am a fan of Udemy. Yes, it's strange that the courses are always discounted but mostly, they are really high quality and not something you can just find on Youtube. E.g. the NLP course I am taking has lots of videos, articles, worksheets etc. - it is really comprehensive. Just choose a course that has lots of positive reviews and you cannot go wrong. For me it's definitely worth it (especially for that price) and easier than looking for videos on youtube but depends on the subject as well. Also, I know one girl who took a discounted programming course on Udemy (she paid 10 dollars for it!) and works as a front end developer now. She had no programming experience before!
Alright, I’ll give it a try. I mean with 12 Euros for an 18,5 hours class you probably can’t do much wrong but it still needs to be worth it.
I’ve just seen they offer a money back guarantee. Thank’s for telling us about it! This might have been the final impulse for me to try it out :)
Yeah, forgot about the money back guarantee. Then there is really no risk :) Let me know how you liked the course :)
