DIY~ 1 Year Update On Duck House Build ~ DIY

in #dtube5 years ago (edited)

Your DIY Splatts Guy is back with a little update on the Duck house I built about 1 year ago. I was out changing the water in their pond and I realized, You know, this duck house is working out great! The Ducks even know when it gets dark and any of us come outside, they head straight into their house. It must be comfy in their, right?

Going that extra mile and spending a few extra bucks sure paid off in the long run. Plus, painting it the same color as the shed makes it look really nice too. Initially I was going to just slap something together... but I just couldn’t help myself. All or nothin I guess. With a lined interior and and watering station inside. Fold down door into a ramp, rear access for clean and egg gathering, and free roofing material. I am really proud how this has been holding up and the way it looks and functions.

I hope you enjoyed my video and I hope this encourages you to get out and use your imagination and build something yourself. It’s is so easy to just buy one but when you create one using your bare hands, sweat a little and possibly bleed a touch, you appreciate it a lot more.

Until next time...

Lucky duckers! That really is a luxury duck house, and you built it to last. I really enjoyed your video and am looking forward to more duck updates and DIY projects! Keep it up! CHEERS!

They have it pretty good if you ask me. That is if my kids would quick chasing them around trying to catch them. We are really glad we got the Indian runner ducks rather than chickens. They don’t fly and they don’t tear things up, but they do need access to clean water all the time but that really isn’t that big of a deal.
Thanks for stopping by and welcome to Steem!!
