RE: Las Vegas Unsettling Details Emerge

in #dtube7 years ago (edited)

I'm not a Bilzerian fan, but I thought it was gross how people were making fun of him. Admittedly, I was guilty of laughing when Dakota Meyer responded to him, but once my emotions started to settle I realized how disgusting that was of me. The reason I'm even posting about that is because I think it's so easy to point the finger at others, but change starts with ourselves. That's why I wrote what I did today about taking a brief moment to catch our breath and let people grieve in the aftermath: https://steemit.com/blog/@joshpeterson/why-i-don-t-want-to-talk-gun-politics-after-las-vegas-with-you-right-now

There's plenty of time to have a logical discussion about what happened and what should be done going forward. But when we can't even recognize the humanity of a survivor because we hate their Instagram page, something is really wrong.
